At the beginning of the class we completed the
conversation with fifteen two word verbs that we was doing the day before. It
was funny because we didn’t have more ideas to continue the conversation but
when we already finished; our mind was open to do it. We read the conversation
too and we listened the dialogues made by our other classmates.
Then, we did a nice activity. We had to talk with
different people about the verbs that we learned. We asked each other the
meaning of the verbs used in our conversation, so we could memorize them and
learned others verbs too.
We completed the unit 9 of the red book. The topic of
the class was words or expressions to describe the people and we learned different
adjectives to do it, for example bald, young, pretty, tall and others. Also, we learned the name of the main clothes to
identify someone. We did an activity using the questions “Which one is…?” and “Who
is…?” We had to complete the questions using our classmate’s names and
information about them. I learned the meaning of the word “Baggy”.
After that, the teacher put us to work with idioms. We
began to write other conversation employing fifteen idioms. It was more
difficult than the first conversation but we had fun because we were actually
doing a discussion.
Writing the conversation I figure out that some idioms
in English have the same meaning but different words in Spanish. And I like use
idioms while I talking, I hope to learn some of them in English.
I was a little tired, but the teacher told us a very good
new. She wrote on the board the homework that we have to do, most important,
she wrote that we don’t have classes tomorrow and Monday. And, believe me… this
new makes me happy.
