Evolution

Evolution means series of transformations. There are 5 kinds of evolution:

1. Natural Selection: That's the process in which the species adapt to their environment. The species evolve when some of them have better characteristics to survive and they pass these characteristics to the other generations. 

2. Parallel Evolution: Species with similar characteristics evolve in species with new features. 

3. Convergent evolution: Species with a different ancestor evolve in species with similar features.

4. Divergent evolution: Species with the same ancestor evolve in species with different features.

5. Coevolution: It is the mutual adaptation of two or more species because of the reciprocal influence that they have. 

Let see some examples about coevolution:

In Chile a specie of cactus is attacked by mistletoe. These parasites need the nutrients of the cactus. The cactus developed longer spines, so the mistletoe couldn't reach the roots of the cactus. But at the same time, the mistletoe developed longer roots to get it. 

Other example is the moths and the bats. The bats make a sound to find insects and eat it. But the moths evolved, and now they can detect these sounds and change their movements to avoid the bats. Actually, the moths produce their own sounds to confuse the bats. 

One example more is the case of the ants of Attini. They produce a kind of mushroom. The mushroom doesn't have sporangia, so they can't reproduce by themself. When the ants change their nest, they pick up the mushroom and transport to the new place. 

The last example is about the orchids and the bees. The orchid developed the same morphology of an insect to attract the bees. 

Some people think that evolution doesn’t exist, but these examples show the opposite. Some of them say that evolution doesn’t have sense with the bible and they can’t accepted the theories. But even with this argument, creation and evolution are compatible. The theory of creation is about someone who produced something, but the theory of evolution is about the transformation of the things that supposedly someone created.

We need the evolution, a lot species could survive because of that. Also, with the evolution humans know how will be our future and the future of the rest of the world.
